Catering Guidelines

  • Minimum 15 people for all hot buffets.
  • Minimum 72 hours' notice for all orders, any order beyond this timeframe must contact the catering office.  Larger events require more lead time, i.e. one week for guest counts 50-100, and two weeks if larger than 101.
  • All orders must have a form of payment on file before event date, i.e. Check, Credit Card, Purchase Order or Blanket Order.  All non-Gannon University events must be paid in full 24 hours prior to event start.
  • China service outside of Waldron Center/Beyer Hall will be an additional $2.50 per person.
  • At the completion of an order the customer must place a room reservation/setup order on the Gannon portal through either campus services (anywhere besides Waldron on campus) or Waldron Center (any order in Waldron).
  • Linens are included in per person pricing for buffets and plated meals, choice of white, gold or burgundy.  There will be an additional charge for all other linen needs.  Linen colors outside of the ones listed above may be ordered through the catering office, for an additional fee.
  • Centerpieces are not provided.
  • We provide ample food to provide all options chosen for everyone at your event which sometimes allows for excess but due to health board regulations no food may be taken from events.
  • Final counts are due 7 business days before the event and may be adjusted up until 2 days before. You will be billed for the final count given or number of actual attendees, whichever is greater.
  • We are happy to receive beer and wine for events that require a bar, but we can only hold beer and alcohol following an event for 24 hours. Please coordinate with us to ensure a proper pick up!
  • Cancellations must be made within a reasonable time, and no later than 48 hours prior to the function. A minimum of 50% service charge will be assessed if cancellations are made after the cut-off period.
